In anticipation of this month’s Red Bull Indianapolis GP, American MotoGP rider Nicky Hayden was allowed the opportunity to get in a few hot laps at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in order to test the repaved surface. Beginning in June, IMS repaved 1.5 miles of the road course circuit between Turns 5 and 16. Hayden rode a Ducati 1198 Superbike and said he was pleased with the job the done.
